Over the period of 1990-1995, the prices in London and Tokyo were both cut down drastically by about 7% from 1989. In the following period, the prices in tokyo had slightly increased and it became -5% in comparison with 1989 average house cost, whereas in London, it had grown up extremely and exceeded the mark of 10%, which is the highest mark.
However, Madrid and Frankfurt were the only cities with an increase in costs in the first period, 1% and 2% respectively. In 1996-2002, the average prices in both cities increased but the pattern for them was the opposite, 4% and 1% more than in 1989. Additionally, In New York, prices became 5% lower in 1990-1995and in 1996-2002, it was 5% higher than the average prices in 1989 .
Overall, Tokyo remained as the only city where prices were lower than in 1989, whereas in other cities it raised.
