Overall, the cash flow gradually increased throughout the whole period. Besides, publishing was seemingly the most popular content for which money was used the most in three given areas.
Firstly, in Asia, in 1995, the total amount of money spent was 67 dollars. The publishing has taken over 50% of the total amount, and about one-third of the total figure was spent on television. In 2000, the total amount doubled to 110 dollars, the cost of Television and publishing have occupied 70% of the total cost while video and cinema purchase contributed only over 20 percent of the total.
Secondly, in Europe, in 1995, resemble Asian purchase, Europeans spent most of the amusing money on publishing and television which account for over 75 percent of the total amount (97 dollars). The rest were used for music, video, and cinema entertainment which account only for less than 25%. In 2000, the proportions still maintain the former ones except for a rise of the total amount to 131 dollars. Finally, the percentage of spending money on amusing in America is the same as the two areas but with an enormous total amount of money which is 184 dollars in 1995 and 257 dollars in 2000.
