The diagram below represents the process of receiving a driving license in the US.
This procedure involves various steps, which are categorized into two main groups, namely before and after paying the fee.
The before payment category consists of four stages as follows. First of all, you should go to the driving license center, and fill in the related forms. Then you will be asked to take an eyesight test which is mandatory for being eligible, meaning that if you fail in this test, you will not be allowed to drive a car. While if you pass the test, you can proceed to the next stage of the process, by paying the fee.
Afterward, the first thing to do is to have a written exam, which should be repeated until passed. Although, if you fail for the third time, you have to pay the fee again. When you pass the exam, the practical road exam can be done. Each time this exam is failed, the payment must be repeated. Finally, in case you pass this exam, a driving license will be issued to you.
