The picture below shows how a hot balloon works. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features.
The pictorial diagram illustrates the basic components of a hat balloon as well as its inflation/operation mechanism. However, before the modus operandi is begun, a few tasks must be completed in order to set the balloon up properly and prime it for a safe and delightful flight.
As depicted, the hot balloon consists of three main parts, namely, envelope, burner, and basket that have to be securely connected with rope, before filling the envelope out with the cold air. In addition, the envelope comprises three segments, including parachute valve, vertical gores, and horizontal panels. Hanging on the handle of the basket, cylinders contain the propane fuel. To ignite a fire, propane has to be mixed with the parachute’s cold air.
Due to the portability of hot air compared with that of cold air, hot air moves and stays at the upper level, which provokes the hot balloon to swing slightly upwards. However, the process is not complete as the hot air has to escape during the flight. To do so, the aforementioned valve, positioned on top of the parachute, plays an indispensable role, as the hot air is evacuated through this.
