Essay topics:

The charts below show the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and the amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country between 1920 and 2019.

Given are two line graphs depicting the fluctuation in the proportion of family units possessing three distinct electronics, namely washing machine, refrigerator and vacuum cleaner and the aggregate figure of house chore hours measured by week in each household over a phase of a century from the 1920s.
It is conspicuous that due to the popularity of electrical appliances over years, the number of hours spent on housework soaked drastically. Furthermore, refrigerator and vacuum cleaner gradually became the requisite items in each family.
In terms of the percentage of households owning electronic items, 40% in the total was announced to have washing machine while only 10- percent lower claimed the appearance of vacuum cleaner in their house. In opposition, there was no one deciding to obtain a refrigerator in their house during the first year. However, within the next 40 years, a drastic change eventuated despite an apparent increase in the number of electrical appliances. Nearly 90% of households used refrigerator to store their houses when exactly 70% was reported for both the remaining ones. Towards the end of the stage, all family units utilized refrigerator and vacuum cleaner since the year 1980 and 2000 respectively. In contrast, that of household owning washing machine fell slightly to roughly 63% in 1980 before witnessing a moderate recovery during some last years with over 75%.
Due to the aid of electrical appliance in housework, the total number of hours for doing chores plunged significantly from 50 in the 1920s to approximately 20 hours in 1960, which was followed by a gradual decrease with over 10 hours in the last year shown.
