The chart presents the data on the degrees of using fish and some different kinds of meat measured as grams per person per week in a European country over a twenty-five-year period starting from 1979. Generally, while one experienced a rise, there were declines in the remaining three.
According to the graph, the consumption of chicken fluctuated slightly and rocketed gradually before becoming the most significant degree of using fish and some different kinds of meat in 2004 (at 250 grams).
Besides, the trend for fish consumption and two types of meat consumption: Beef, Lamb are different from the trend for chicken consumption. Starting from the highest point in the graph (at more than 200 grams), the degree of using beef went up and down wildly in the first fifteen years of the period (from 220 grams to 180 grams). Then, it still varied and dropped to more than 100 grams. Similar to the trend for beef consumption, the trend for lamb consumption fluctuated slightly and went down to 120 grams in 2004. Finally, the trend for fish consumption decreased minimally and nearly stayed the same at 48 grams in the last year in the chart.
As can be seen from the chart, chicken contributed the largest proportion of consumption throughout the period, whereas fish had the smallest share.
