The pie charts below show the devices people in the 18 to 25 age group use to watch television in Canada in two different years.
The pie charts provide information about how many devices which residents used to observe television in two different age group (18 and 25) in Canada in the years 2009 and 2019.
Overall, conventional TV in 2009 was the biggest part of the chart, but after 10 years, it became the smallest segment. In addition, while at the beginning of the survey, the tablet was the least significant, in the year 2019, that ratio made up the third biggest part of the chart.
Flat-screen TV accounted for 8% in 2009 and this figure had a sight growth by 19% after 10 years. The percentage of mobile phone was 15% in 2009 and experienced a more than one-and-a-half-time increase to 26%. And tablet made up 14% from 5% to 19% between 2009 and 2019.
Although in the first year of the chart, the numbers for laptops and desktops only differed by 2% which was 20% and 18%, after the survey period, this number has been down and equal. Especially, in the year 2009, convention TV was at 34%, respectively, the rate fell to 4%.
