Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant

The chart illustrates changes over the period of ten years in trends among young adults of using devices to watch television in Canada.

Overall, drastic reduction of conventional TV usage can be seen in a decade from 34% to 4%. While, a considerable rise was recorded in flat screen TV from 15% to 26% which elucidates that people moved on to a better version of TV to enhance their experience of watching. Also, both desktop computer and laptop saw substantial depletion (around a third for both).

A subtle rise can be noticed in application of portable devices like tablet and mobiles among younger people in 2019. The use of mobile phones almost doubled in the year 2019 (26%) from 15% in 2009 whereas, the utilization of tablets increased four times than it was in 2009 (5% to 19%).

In conclusion, the TV viewing habits in Canada over the period saw a move away from older devices and towards more modern equivalents.
