Overall, whats stands out from the graph is that in every country the higher the standards, the higher the teaching hours. Among those countries, the USA's teachers spent more time teaching the students, while in this case, the Japanese teachers had been passed less time to teach than all others.
Regarding Japan and the USA, in 2001 the US's primary teachers taught more than 150 hours compared with the Japanese, while they utilized 600 hours in the whole year to instruct their pupils. In the other two sectors, the difference was far more, the USA used almost 1200 hours to learn the upper secondary students, on the other hand, Japan gave 700 hours to their students, and it is similar to the lower secondary.
Turning to Spain and Iceland, both countries used almost the same time which was 900 and just over 900 respectively for the purpose of teaching the upper secondary scholars. When it came to the lower secondary, then a significant difference between them was observed, whereas Iceland utilized 600 hours to giving instruction to their learner, while Spain gave more than 150 hours.
