The bar chart represents the difficulties based on three features which are faced by people of different ages to settle in a new country.
Overall, acquiring a new language is more challenging for aged people, while it is easy for the younger but finding a home is more challenging for them. On the other hand, almost the same amount of middle-aged people feel stretched in every case.
According to the database, the people who are aged over 55, the local language is the main barrier for most of them (in percentage 54 %), while, in the case of the other two groups, 29% and 35% of 18-34 aged people and the second age group face difficulties with the local language to adjust in a country. Finding a new accommodation is the main problem for the first group, 40% of them struggling on this issue. However, house settlement in other countries is challenging for 22% of older people and 39% of the middle group.
Then turning to the last challenging issue, making a new friend in a new environment is too hard for the 18-34 age people 54% are successful in this case, whereas 23% of the older people feel stretched to make new acquaintances. In this group, 36% of 34-55 age people were included.
