The diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing sugar from sugar cane.
There are 7 stages to make the raw materials become finished goods. At first, sugar canes are planted on ploughed fields for about 12-18 months until they are qualified to crop. Then, sugar canes are harvested by one of two methods: using machinery or doing craft. Next, all of them are crushed by a specilized machine to turn into juice.
The following step is to purify juice by limestone filter and use heat to evaporate juice into syrup. After that, it comes to contrifugation, which is the process of separating sugar crystals from syrup. Finally, manufacturers make dry and cool sugar so that the products are valid for usage.
