The table illustrates the percentages of three age groups of spectators watching different TV programs

The table indicates the proportion of people who watched six different TV programs in an European country in the year 2012. The data is split into three different age brackets (11-15, 15-20, 21-25).

In general, feature films and sports programs were preferred by people of all age groups. Meanwhile, the biggest difference in the data of all age groups can be observed in news programs and cartoons.

The percentages of people who watched feature films and sports programs shared a relatively identical pattern with approximately 20% of viewers in each age group. TV dramas also saw similar viewing preferences of all age groups, at roughly 10%.

The biggest disparity between the figures across the three groups was in cartoons and news programs. 29% of people between the ages of 11 and 15 enjoyed watching cartoons, as opposed to merely 4% of those aged 21 to 25. In contrast, 23% of people in the oldest group watched news programs, compared to only 6% of people from the youngest group. Besides, soap operas were preferred by similar percentages of people aged 11-15 and 21-25 (17% and 19%), but those programs only attracted 12% of people in the 15 to 20 age group.
