The chart below shows information about the problems people have when they go to live in other countries.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The chart indicates the difficulties people at different age groups who settle down in a new country encounter. In general, it is revealed by the chart that the percentage of people having these problems varied according to their ages. While younger age groups find making friends the most problematic, the elderly have trouble using local languages.
The proportion of those who find learning a foreign language difficult is the largest among the oldest age group, with approximately 55 %. Whereas, the figures for the middle-aged and young adults are far lower, at 35 and 30% respectively.
In comparison, the proportion of people having problems in forming a relationship is smaller. In particular, 45% of young people aged from 18-34, experience this. This is a little higher than the figure recorded among the middle-aged (36%) while the percentage of senior citizens who suffer from this is only a half as high, at 23%.
In contrast to their language-learning difficulties, finding accommodation is not as worth considering in senior citizens as in younger age groups when only one-fifth of them face up to it. However, this is the greatest concern among those aged between 35 and 54 with nearly 40 %, and this is also the percentage of the youngest age group who are struggling to cope with the same problem.
