The line graph below shows the percentage of tourists to Scotland who visited four different attractions in Edinburgh
The line graph illustrates the rate of Scotland's visitors that called on four different destinations over the period 30 years.
Overall, the number of tourists in Scotland who visited to the castle fluctuated significantly and kept almost the highest percentage between 1980 and 2010. In contrast, there was a gradual variation but in a low percentage in the rate of Scotland's visitors went to the zoo over the period shown.
The percentage of visitors in Scotland paying a visit to the castle stood at the a low rate to about 22%, but the figure for that climbed enormously until reach a peak of 45% in 1995, then it turned to decline minimally during the next 15 years, whereas the rate of Scotland’s visitors going to the zoo started at the lowest point and varied steadily in the first 20 years and there was a considerable growth in the last 10 years
Regarding to the two other tourist attractions: festival and aquarium. There was a gradual fall in the proportion of tourists in Scotland coming to the festival by around 12%. Although the rate of Scotlanders to the aquarium increased dramatically in first 5 years, The period from 1985 to 1990 witnessed a drop and continued to fall until the end of the period.
