Given are the two maps delineating the transformations of the waterfront area of the town named Darwin during a period of 5 years, commencing from 2009.
It is perceptible that there were drastic modifications reported mostly in the south with the construction and replacement; however, there were also some parts of the area that stayed unchanged.
In 2009, in the south, the large industrial area was knocked down to make way for the trees, and there was the footpath running from west to east that led to the harbour which was newly built near the coastline in 2014. On top of the wood, there were six residential buildings which used to be just a half while there was the university building to the west of these buildings.
Meanwhile, inside a circular footpath in the upper part of the map, the smaller industrial area was superseded by the small swimming pool which was adjacent to the original lake and some trees. On the seashore, there were two big swimming pools that remained from the past with the school on the opposite side. There was the road leading to the fishing area in the northeast that stayed unchanged.
