caring for a pet is the best way for a child to learn responsibility
Some people think that having children look after pets is the best method to teach them responsibility. However, in my opinion, taking care of pets is not the most effective way for children to develop a responsible attitude. I feel this way for two reasons, which I will explorer in the following essay.
To begin with, taking care of a pet is too difficult for young children. They do not know how to care for animals properly because they lack the necessary experience and knowledge. Therefore, having a pet can be a stressful and confusing experience for children, so they learn nothing from raising pets. For example, when I was in elementary school, my father bought me a dog. He insisted that I had to take care of it on my own. The problem was that I was not sure about the right way to do this. My dog seemed to like chocolate, so I kept feeding it to him. Unfortunately, I did not know that chocolate was harmful to dogs, and my dog died eventually. This was a very traumatic experience for me, not an opportunity to learn responsibility.
Furthermore, it is the parents who end up doing the majority of the work of caring for pets in the home. This is because whenever children take care of pets, most of the tasks involved require an adult's supervision or aid. Take the example of a family that has dogs. The children might be able to bathe the dogs, but an adult should be present at all times. This is because there are many things to be cautious about to keep the bath safe for dogs, like preventing water from getting in their ears. Likewise, the same goes for many other situations, such as when dogs fall ill and when children feed them. In reality, it is not the children who will learn responsibility by having a pet, but their parents. Therefore, it could be said that the children spend time playing with their pets at the expense of their parents' sacrifice.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that teaching children about responsibility by having them raise a pet is not the best way. This is because young children find it too challenging to care for a pet and because have to leave most of the duties to their parents

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
