b. Describe an experience that has fundamentally changed the way you see the world
Everyone will have a changed view of the world when changing age, learning level, and changing lives. It may be a small change in each person's thinking and make it difficult to notice, but we can see it clearly when we look back to the past.
The world changed in my eyes as I change my working environment, at a local pharmaceutical company and a multinational pharmaceutical company. A year ago, when I was working at Merap group, I understood well the company's strategy is to create generic drugs similar to drug brand names. The growing world means that people will detect more diseases, Vietnam’s companies cannot meet the needs of research timely to create new drugs. Like the Covid pandemic, most vaccines put on the market are from multinational companies that produce brand names. Now, I see a tremendous growth in new drug research when I’m working at Boehringer Ingelheim. The difference between the two companies is mainly the discovery of new active ingredients to treat diseases such as cancer, diabetes, viruses, … that changed my mind. I promise I will be one of the people trying to change so that Vietnam also has new active ingredients to treat diseases. In Vietnam, there are a variety of medicinal herbs that can make special active ingredients that other countries do not have, which make a difference between domestic companies. Learning knowledge, skills at multinational companies and studying for an MBA to be able to manage my company when I’m going to establish it. I will have the right strategy with available herbs in Vietnam. I believe that Vietnam will change when making good use of herbs. And Vietnam's pharmaceutical industry will go up quickly
