The diagrams illustrate the changes of the center of a town named Islip at the present and the future.
It is obvious that the town center will undergo a number of considerable developments. Overall, the addition of amenities will be accompanied by the introduction of a dual carriageway and a ring road around the center.
At the present, the main road running from west to east is located in the middle of two Shops areas. But in the planned development, this road will be transformed into Pedestrian street. Another noticeable that there will be an erection of a Dual carriageway, which will form a Ring road in the city center.
In the North of the Pedestrian road, new facilities including Bus Station, Shopping Centre, Car Park, and New Housing will be built on the original site of the Shops. However, Shops that are situated on the Southside of this street will still exist. On the south of Islip, Park will be become smaller to make way for the construction of more New Housing within the ring road.
