It is widely believed that human behaviors are mainly effected by the impact of laws. While some people agree with this school of thought, I would argue that besides laws, there are different factors also leading to the changes in people behaviors.
Admittedly, laws, nowadays, have become indispensable body, which support the Government to control and supervise the behavior of citizens. This is because the full weight of laws have an enormous power to adjust the way all of the society members behave without any exceptions. Take traffic laws as an example. Thanks to the presence of laws, which is a direct symbol of the government, people when participating in traffic roads, regardless of the motorcyclist or pedestrian, have to adhere to the relevant laws, which renders them traveling on the right lanes and stopping at the traffic lights to avoid heavy fines or the confiscation of driving licence. In terms of business, the majority of enterprises and corporations have a tendency to run along profits and pay little attention to the serious consequences in the environment and public health. Therefore, through adopting strict law system, it will act as a deterrent prevents businessmen from illegal commercial behaviors, which can lead them to embark on the criminal road.
Despite these arguments mentioned above, I strongly believe that some indicators such as living conditions and people's awareness are also able to change the way citizen behave. Firstly, living conditions have a crucial role to play in supervising people's behaviors. For instance, because children are the mirror images of the society, If they were born and brought up in a fresh environment with the absence of crimes, they will develop according to a positive way. Secondly, the consciousness of people also contribute to the construction of their personal brand via their behaviors. Without a doubt, well-educated people who can clearly distinguish the right and wrong, are prone to behave suiting social norms in any circumstances.
In conclusion, human behavior can be changed not only by current law system, but also by other factors including their living conditions and awareness.
