The charts provide the comparison between France people and Indians in terms of age in the year, 1984.
Looking from all perspectives, it is readily apparent that India has a larger population of both genders in the age group of 0-5 whilst France has more life expectancy than India in the later ages.
India has got an upper hand in percentage over France regarding the group of offsprings and teenagers since the former has around 5-7 percent while the latter has 3-4 percent. Both have reached equilibrium at 40-45 group, reaching nearly 3%. The table has turned in the latter age groups from 45 to 85. France still got some percentage left for the adults with larger proportion for the females. On the other hand, the life expectancy significantly falls for both sex in India to the point that it has got only 1 percent for 60-65 group and a mere 2% for over 70s.
To sum up, France was able to maintain its people to live longer in 1984 with around 4-5% of the population and India turned out to lose more people as they get older although it has huge figures in childbirth.
