The information about the recycling process of plastic bottles is depicted in the given diagram. This process has nine major steps for recycling plastic bottles.
The diagram reveals that in the first stop people throw waste plastic bottles into rubbish boxes, which is taken by a big lorry in the next step for sending that waste plastic to the recycling centre. In the third step, the bottles are sorted by the worker and then compressed into blocks through machines. After this, plastic bottles are crushed into small pieces with the help of crushing wheels.
Furthermore, small pieces of plastic are washed after crushing. In the sixth stage, washed plastic is used for producing plastic pellets by a machine, thereafter heating the plastic pellets to form raw material. Raw material is stored in a systematic way and used for producing new products namely new bottles, pencils, and t-shirts in the final stage.
Overall, it is clear that waste plastic bottles are recycled to form new products through various steps; each stage is interconnected and vital for the recycling process.
