The chart below illustrates the amount of man and woman took part in fitness activities from 1970 to 2000.
It is clear that while the number of female members increased, the opposite was true for the male attendant in fitness club during the given period. It is also notable that 1995 recorded the highest membership of both genders with 5000 for female and nearly 300 for male.
As can be seen from the chart, in 1970 their was nearly 200 male members who became fitness member, while there were only 1000 members for female. After 5 years, there was a sharp increase in the number of men join in fitness club nearly double to the female members. The next 10 years witnessed a slowly decline in the number of male member who taking part in club, falling to 1900 in 1980 before rise up to 2900 members in 1985.
Look at the chart in more detail, in 1990 the number of female had a slight fall to 2100 equal with the members of male. Over the next 5 years both male and female fitness club members reached the pek before declining significantly during the end og period.
