The diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing carbonated beverages in multiple stages.
Overall, there are five stages in the process starting from collection raw water to sending off the packed carbonated drinks to various markets.
In stages 1 and 2, the raw water is purified with water softener and several chemicals, after being filtered, which is then pumped into electrical heaters for heating. After the water is converted to steam, it is sent to another chamber via a cooling pipe for carbonation. The carbon dioxide chamber is attached to the latter chamber and is bubbled through the liquid.
The third stage is about sending the carbonated liquid to a mixing tank where coloring agent, sweetener and flavour is incorporated from three separate containers, followed by filtration and filling the final product into bottles and cans.
The bottles and cans are packed and transported to the supermarkets, in the final stage of the process.
