Last year you met someone on holiday and became friends. He/she has informed you that they will be travelling near to your home town on business in a few months' time.
Write a letter to your friend inviting them to stay with you. In your letter
say how pleased you are to hear from them
invite them to stay with you
tell them about your ideas of how you could spend the time together
Dear Annie,
Hope you are doing well by the grace of Almighty. I received your letter yesterday which stated that you'll be coming to visit my hometown New Delhi in India in a couple of few months.
Let me tell know how happy and pleased I was after hearing the news from your letter. I still remember the time where you have helped to find my lost passport during my last vacation to Maldives. You were like an angel sent by God to save from a disaster. The more I learned about you, the more attached I felt to you as a friend. And, after reading your letter, I was extremely happy to return the favors by inviting you to stay at my house during your business trip to my city.
The company in which you work is just ten minutes of walk from my home. Thus, it would be best for you to stay in my apartment because not only you'll be able to save your expenses of cost of living but also we both get more time to spend together at my place. Apart from this, I'll take you to dine out in different restaurants where you can try delicious North Indian Dishes along with couple of drinks. Plus, on weekends, we can visit beautiful temples and stunning views of the city.
I am looking forward to see you soon.
Best Regards,
Shwatank
