The chart below shows figures for attendances at hospital emergency care departments in Northern Ireland by age group in December 2016 and December 2017.

The given diagram illlustrate the comparison of attendence at emergency department of hospital of six categories in Ireland between December 2016 and December 2017.
Overall, the percentage of appearance at emergency room by all age groups in 2016 was always higher than in 2017. It is noticed that aged under and aged 75 and over accounted for the largest number on the chart.
In December 2016, the number of people arrive emergency department was a significant difference across age groups . The largest proportion is aged 75 and over category, nearly 65 persons for every 1000 people. Meanwhile, childrens from 5 to 15 age were three time less than aged 75 and over groups, just over 20 attendances per 1000-population in both months. In constrast, there was remain the same in people aged 16 to 44, 45 to 64, 65 to 74 types, approximately 30 attendances per 1000 population in period given.
Looking at the remaining stage, people aged 75 and over and children aged 5-15 were still the greatest proportion and the smallest proportion, a little more than in 2016, roughly 67 per 1000-population and 55 per 1000-population. Finally, the number of people going to the emergency department in aged 16 to 44, aged 45 to 64, aged 65 to 74 groups tended to go up more than in 2016 but it was no difficult, still just about 20 attendances per 1000-population.
