The line graph illustrates the account of new houses in a separate area of the UK in 2010 and expected for 2020. Houses are segregated as detached, semi-detached terraced homes and flats.
Overall, the number of flats was increased over the years and terraced homes has gradual reduction in the UK after 2010.
in 2010, the overwhelming majority of UK homes are detached with the number of 2200 which escalated in the following years and reached the peak in 2014 with 2800. Then the popularity of detached homes has slight fluctuation and in 2018 the number was around 2700. However, the predicted number in 2020 was about 2200. Moreover, in the beginning, the number of flats was only 1000 in the UK while the graph of flats was climbed considerably for the consecutive years and surpass the detached homes in the year 2019 and expected to the top level in 2020 with 2800.
Regarding the number of semis detached and terraced homes were 2000 and 1600 respectively in 2010 which has slight variations in upcoming years and plummeted around 500 numbers each in 2018. In addition, semi-detached homes in the UK are expected to be approximately 1800 in contrast to the number of mere 1000 detached homes in 2020.
