A nation should require all of its students to study the same national curriculum until they enter college.
Inculcating a single curriculum for the entire nation wouldn’t be a sagacious choice. It would be a tedious process and takes time to be implemented.
Firstly, by ‘inculcating’ the same curriculum throughout the nation would be advantageous in bringing uniformity among the curriculum. Doing so, the grading system helps assess the performance of the students in an equal manner.
But contradicting to this advocacy is that the competition among the peers might shoot up. Every student is competing with the students from the rest of the nation. For instance: in countries similar to India...
