Although you have never formally studied computing, you have always been interested in computers. You have just read about a computer course that really interests you, but it is only for people who have completed an elementary course.
Write a letter to the college enrolment officer. In your letter
explain why you are writing
describe your circumstances
ask if a special exception can be made for you so you can enrol in the course
Dear Principal,
I am writing a letter regarding enrollment into the computer course. Firstly, the introductory session to do Cloud Computing course was so impactful that I am sure that all students in the room were keen to learn more. Similarly, I wish to join the classes for Cloud subject.
I am a commerce graduate student from your college with good academic score with an average of 9.0 pointers last year. Although, being a non-IT student I wish to pursue the cloud computing course. The reason for not enrolling in the graduate IT program was the course fee was too costly. But, I always am curious to learn the working in Information Technology world.
Last week, I got to know about the above-mentioned course and I think if I get a chance to study this subject I can grow my skills and also can be of great help to working on some freelancing projects. Even though, I am aware of the criteria only students with a computer background can enroll this course. I think that students who are interested to learn should be given a chance too. Additionally, Certification of computer basics is already done by me. I would request you to kindly consider my request and to give an exception to grab this opportunity.
I assure you that If I get a chance I would complete the course with flying colors.
Yours faithfully,
Xyx
