The given presentation shows data on the consumption of fast food by Australian Teenagers from 1975 to 2000. As is observed from the given data, teenagers spent more money on fast foods especially in Pizza and Hamburger, which were the most preferred food, in overall, compared to other categories. The preferences for fast food have showed a logarithmic growth with Pizza and Hamburgers whereas Fish/Chips showed an exponential decay trend.
According to the line graph, the preferences for fast food have changed from 1985. Fish and chips were the most preferred fast food items between 1975 and 1985. Teenager’s numbers fluctuated slightly from 80 to 100 in a given period. Then this figure is opposed to become the lowest preferred fast food in 2000 of below 40 times ate for fish/chips. Two other popular fast food items among Australian children were Pizza and Hamburgers for which the highest expensed for more than 15 years (in a projected period of 1985 to 2000).
Teenagers in Australia have eaten hamburgers for 100 times per year whereas they have eaten pizza for almost 85 times in a year. From this given result, the most popular fast food amongst teenagers in Australia is hamburgers.
