The given diagram illustrates the way that plastic bottles are recycled and reused.
Overall, it is clear that for bottles to be used again, they have to go through a 9-stage process.
Looking more closely at the given flow-chart, one can see that after being thrown into the trash cans, these plastic bottles are accumulated by automatic robot arms on trucks. Then, in the third stage, used plastic bottles are classified at the recycling center. In the next step, the sorted ones are compressed into square blocks of bottle before being crushed into pieces and washed in the fifth stage. Afterwards, these small pieces of plastic are put into machine to produce plastic pallets, which will be heated to make raw material in the eighth stage. In the final stage, these raw materials are put to use by human to create many products such as pens or plastic boxes, even clothes.
