TThe maps below show an industrial area in the town of Norbiton, and planned future development of the sitehe maps demonstrate the changeover plan of the recent industrial area in the town of Norbiton into a residential area in the future.
Overall, the targeted site is located east of the town and sandwiched by the river and one main road. Across the river, farmland is settled separately on the north side.
Currently, it can be seen that the primal scheme of the site is quite rough and separated, whose traffic system merely contains two shapes of the route, including a roundabout that connects with two straight roads. The center of the area is dominated by several industrial factories scattered along the main path.
Meanwhile, houses and complementary facilities are planned to be constructed to convert this location into a residential area. The infrastructure is scheduled to be updated and redeveloped with an advanced quantity of new routes and one additional roundabout filled with plenty of housing. The farmland on the north is to be connected with the area by a crossover bridge, and accommodation is also to be constructed here. In addition, a range of supporting buildings is available on the plan, namely shops, a school, a playground, and a medical center.
