The Table below shows the results of a survey that asked 6800 Scottish adults aged 16 years and over whether they had taken part in different cultural activities in the past 12 months

The given table depicts the proportion of 6800 participants who were over 16s, joining in outdoor and indoor activities through a survey which took place 12 months ago.

Overall, it is clear that a large number of people from all enlisted age groups participate in talented performance and visual arts, compared to a small percentage of residents who took part in computering.

Looking at the table, there was 35% of people ranging from 16 to 24 put a leg in dancing and singing performances, that number decreased to 22% and 17% in 25-44 and 45-74 groups respectively. In contrast, only 6% of all aged 16 and over took part in computer-based activities, however, it is shown a 4% increase in this sector of younger generations ( 16 -24 years old ). Furthermore, writing attracted 17% of young ages, but later, that figure declined to a insignificant number in the rest 3 groups.

Regarding to the table, it is noticeable that crafts and cultural activities contributed for 11% and 17% in both first and second age group and fluctuated in third and fourth mentioned sectors. The remaining visual arts makes up 30% of youngsters undertaking, nevertheless, retired population had less interest in this kind of activities. Thus, there were only 11% of citizens was calculated on the table.
