The graph below shows a typical American and a Japanese office. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and comparisons where relevant.
Given are two maps delineating the contrasts between American and Japanese workplace.
It is perceptible that individuals who work in Japanese office are inclined to work in a shared room while the opposite is true for American employees.
When it comes to a eastern country like Japan, desks for working purposes are put together and occupy nearly the whole area. Beside that, two section managers can effortlessly observe and interact with all staff in the room. At the furthest point of the room, there is an engagement of the depart manager as the highest position of the office with a massive glass window behind to catch the sunlight for the workplace.
Regarding typical American office, it is clear that all zones are separated so employees can work self-contained. At the middle of the room, L-shaped desks are placed in center alignment with 4 ones each row. Moving to the right of the room, headquarter positions are settled side by side which are 2 section managers and a bigger room for department manager. Furthermore, on the left side of the room, there are two functional rooms for staff - printer area, storage respectively and two rooms for meeting purposes.
