It is noticeable that the percentages of students who chose physics, medicine and a low course were considerably soared, the opposite was true for the figure of computer science. Additionally, the figure for the low course witnessed a dramatic increase over the period shown.
Beginning at the lowest point (around 10% in 1970), the proportion of female students who studied low courses went up significantly to 90% in 2000, before sawing a slight drop to 80% in 2010, followed by a recovery to nearly 100% at the end of the surveyed time. Although having better starts, the figures for physics and medicine were lower, standing at appropriately 85 and 92%, respectively.
Turning to computer science, starting with 35% of girls who registered for this course in 1970, the proportion of students soared dramatically to 70% in the middle of the examined time, but after which, this figure dropped to 30% in 2015.
