The picture illustrates the process of lead pencils production. It can be divided into three main stages with 11 small steps within which trees are planted, chopped and manufactured to become completed pencils in the package.
The first stage of this process happens when people plant young trees for four months then they are replanted. When all trees are about three years old, they are thinned in a larger area which aims to get grown with more spaces around then ready to be harvested after 14 years.
What happens in the next step is that the wood from the trees are chopped into thin slats by a cutting machine. Those slats are treated and after 60 days, black lead is filled into the grooves on the surface and fixed with glue. Afterwards, what people do is adding another new slat to produce sandwiches which experience heat and hard presses in the next step. After that, individual almost-done pencils are cut from these sandwiches and ready for the last steps.
At the final stage, in-progress pencils undergo a state of completion. They are painted, sharpened and stamped to put into packages and ready to be sold to the customers.
