Science and technology will one day be able to solve all of society’s problems.
In today's world, science and technology are powerfull tools which, if utilized properly, can unlock a myriad of possibilities and can do wonders. The prompt suggests that science and technology will one day be able to solve all of society's problems. In my opinion, I strongly agree with this statement for the following reasons.
To begin with, science and technology has helped mankind achieved unthinkable heights since time immemorable be it in the field of communication or aviation. It now seems absurd when we think that it was impossible for a human being to fly in air some decades ago. But today the mankind has been able to circle the globe due to the revolution in the field of aviation. The innovations in the field of communication technology has helped us to connect to our beloved ones sitting on the other side of the world.
Further, science and technology has been a boon in the field of medicine. With the advent of science and technology, it has become possible to create a healthier lifestyle by early detection of diseases. As a result people have become more health conscious and are more inclined towards following an active lifestyle, all thanks to the innovations in the field of medicine and healthcare. With the help of technological advances, we have been able to conquer deadly diseases such as coronavirus, polio, tuberculosis and have also been able to significantly reduce infant mortality rate.
Of course some may argue that the science and technology have also created many problems for the society in the first place. For example, people are more prone to cyber attacks now more than ever. But, due to this very reason, there are many innovative ideas evolving around the world to fight cyber crime and our cyber infrastructure has been becoming robust and impregnable everyday.
In conclusion, there are immense innovations that science and technology can help uncover and solve society's problems and make this world a better place.
