Essay topics:

The table below shows how the UK unemployed spent their time in the last year.

The given table illustrates the percentage of the stand-off persons’ time, in Britain, expenditure for activities, in the previous year.
Overall, unemployed people spent most of their free time on hunting, shopping, and housework, in contrast to significantly less on drinking, and playing sports. In addition, the unoccupied person spent time equally on the other activities.
Particularly, while men distributed their leisure time for shopping, housework, and looking for work, with average 20% in the morning for each option, women spent up to 49% of their time on housework. In contrast, some activities, namely drinking, playing sports, took remarkably less time than the others; Even females have no time for playing sports. In the afternoon, although the proportion of time for housework registered a strong drop, it still took female’s time as threefold as the one of male, with 21%, 7%, respectively.
Meanwhile, there is an equal distribution of leisure time for the other choices, above 10%, such as, visiting town, staying in bed, and so on. However, men tended to spend more time on gardening at 14% than females just 2%. The unemployment also favored staying in bed in the morning, with 16%, over the afternoon, with 1%.
