The table detailed indicates percentile figures for women in the workforce and those in the management field in five different nations.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the proportion of women working is consistent among all of the countries with the exception of Egypt. Regarding management, both Australia and United States have a reasonably gender-balanced workforce, as opposed to the rest.
Looking initially at the first column, Japan is the top leader in the percentage of women contributing to the workforce at 48%, slightly higher than the United States by 2%. The female worker population in Australia and Sri Lanka are identical at 42%. Holding the lowest figure for women in the workforce is Egypt with only 1 out of 5 workers - less than half of other countries.
Taking managerial positions into consideration, both Australia and the United States are holding the highest percentage with women taking up equally 43%. By contrast, only 17% of women make up Japan’s managerial workforce, followed by Egypt at 12% and Sri Lanka at just under one-tenth, making them lean towards the gender-unbalanced side.
