Afterwards, there was an upward trend in the consumption of petrol oil and were forecasted to reach a peak of nearly 50 quadrillion units in 2030.
The consumption of coal is estimated to increase gradually, rising about 13 quadrillion from 1980 to 2030.
The quantity of natural gas consumed was around 20 quadrillion in 1980.Over the period of 35 years, the consumption of natural gas fluctuated dramatically and reached a high of about 25 quadrillion in 2015. Following this, the consumption of natural gas is expected to stay relatively unchanged until 2030.
The consumption of nuclear and other environmentally friendly energy is the lowest in 1980 with only 4 quadrillion units. From 1980, there were a lot of fluctuations in the consumption of them but almost unchanged till 2030.
