The given maps compare an island before and after the introduction of numerous tourist amenities.
Looking at the two maps, it can be readily apparent that the island has been inverted, turning into a touristic area instead of a deserted one. While the trees remain unchanged after the construction, more houses along with a restaurant and reception were added in the heart of the island. Furthermore, infrastructure such as a pier, footpath or vehicle track were also erected in this area to boost tourism.
Starting at the pier where tourists arrive, it is obvious that there is a reception right on the opposite side and people can get there through the vehicle track. Behind the reception is a restaurant and similarly, travelers can arrive there with the newly constructed track for vehicles. To the East of the central area, a significant number of accommodation has appeared and they are all connected together by a circular footpath.
On the other side of the reception, it is pretty similar to the Eastern side since houses were built and commuters can use footpath to walk around the area. However, a noticeable difference witnessed is that in addition to the aforementioned footpath, there is another footpath leading to the beach where tourists can swim and partake in other underwater activities.
