The diagrams give information about changes in a student accommodation.
The maps illustrate the innovations in a student accommodation from 2010 to now. Over the period, the area witnessed fundamental changes, with the number of student bedrooms increasing and the addition of several services. These modifications are to improve the students’ living experiences.
The student accommodation has been expanded to the northwest to construct a student bedroom. Besides that, the former living room in 2010 has been replaced by another dorm, lifting the total number of student rooms to five. At the heart of the campus is still located the shared bathroom for all students to use.
In the southeast corner is still the original single bedroom for a student as it was in 2010, next to it on the left is a new en-suite room which provides a private bathroom. The kitchen located between two bedrooms in the east remained untouched through the improvement period, as well as the main entrance and the hallway in the southwest. It is also noticeable that in the south of the accommodation, a car parking has been added for students to park their cars when they return to their dorms.
