Dear Sam,
I know I planned to visit you on 4th February 2022 but there’s an event at home I’ll have to be in attendance.
It is the burial ceremony of my late uncle Uche that was a former Commissioner of Sports in Abia State. He gave up the ghost on 28th January 2022 after a brief illness. This came as a shock to the whole family but life has to go on.
I’m really sorry about the disappointment and I promise to make it up to you once I arrive. We had a lot of involvements mapped out for this particular visit and I’m still looking forward to each one.
The summer will be a good time to come over, because there will be fewer activities for me to engage in. During my leave from work I’d be chanced too or we can just come up with a date that will suit both of us since I am the CEO of my company.
All the best.
