Overall, it can be clearly seen that in the initial period, travel was the most famous sector, while at the end of the period, films became the highest factor for New Zealand citizens. However, clothes and books were the least popular categories over the period.
In 2003, 36 percent of the total online sales were covered by travel, which was the highest percentage among other factors. Clothing accounted for 24 percent, which was 12 percent lower than travel, followed by films and music with 21 percent. Books were the least popular figure with only 19 percent.
In 2013, films and music had the highest sales, at 33 percent. Travel consisted of 29 percent, which was down 7 percent compared to 2003. Similarly, books covered 22 percent of the total, which was 11 percent less than films. Clothing sales decreased by 8 percent, which was 16 percent, which was the lowest figure.
