Dear Sir,
I'm writing this letter to inform you that it would not be possible for me to take the job this summer. This is as a result of unforseen circumstances.
So, the National Youth Service Corps call-up letter for this year 2022 is out. I am among the first set which is entitled "Batch A". I'll be traveling to the orientation camp on the 4th of may 2022 and will be there for three weeks. This exercise will continue after the camping and this will be for a period of 11 months and one week; the participants would be posted to various primary places of assignment also known as their "PPA"
I'm sorry for the inconvenience this impromptu circumstance must have caused your workplace. Although I never saw it coming. Please forgive me!
Lastly, next summer is also another opportunity to work with you. I'd reach out to your office when I'm done with my NYSC, so expect to hear from me by that time.
I hope to hear from you at the earliest.
Yours faithfully,
Adam Grant
