The bar chart depicts the number of imprisonments in five countries from the period 1930 to 1980.
Overall, there were upward trends in Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand from the time between 1930 and 1960. However, figures represented for three countries hit at the same number in 1970. The United States and Canada were considerably reported with fluctuated trends over the period of time given by.
It is apparently can be seen that by the time of 1980, the USA reached a peak with 138 cases of detention reported. Simultaneously, the second highest number which can be seen from the chart was from the US, with the figure of 135. In contrast, Great Britain was the country had the least number of imprisonments among five countries from 1930 to 1960, and recognized with 35 imprisonments in 1930 had been mentioned from the database. The figures for Canada witnessed second highest numbers of imprisonment over the period from 1960 to 1980 and the year of 1940. Two years that were seen remarkable imprisonments in Canada surpassing The United States were in 1930 and 1950, with 120 and 118 cases had been directly announced. By the time from 1930 to 1950, The number of imprisonments in New Zealand was seen to be declined. However, between 1960 and 1980, it rose steadily from 62 to 83 cases of imprisonments. Australia had the same pattern of New Zealand when the imprisonments decreased from 66 to 40 cases from the time between 1930 and 1950 and skyrocketed from 40 in 1950 to 82 in 1980.
