Looking at the two maps provides the information on how an island changed before and after certain tourist facilities were built.
Overall, the empty island has undergone significant transformations into a tourist destination with the development of various facilities including a reception area, lodging, restaurant, pier, etc. to draw in more tourism-related activities.
Before the refurbishment, this area was completely encircled by the sea, with the only tourist amenities being a little beach to the west and few coconut trees.
The island has undergone tremendous transformation as a result of the development and building of numerous new infrastructures. The focal point of these facilities is the reception. On the two opposite sides of the reception, two lodging spaces were situated, with a restaurant behind it. Also, to make it easier for the tourists, commuting roads and footpaths have been built. While tracks were built around the reception to link with the restaurant and the pier for driving, the walkways were developed to allow people to walk between the residential areas and the beach where visitors can go swimming. It is interesting to see that natural features have not changed.
