The chart gives information about the amount of money that male and female workers earn every week, regarding five separate professions.
Generally, it is clear that professionals are people who get the highest level of income while a contrasting pattern is applied to manual labourers. In addition, there is a noticeable discrepancy between men and women working in the same position, regardless of occupation.
Specifically, male professionals earn 2000 dollars per week, which is 100 dollars higher than their female counterparts. Moreover, the most apparent difference in terms of earnings is recorded in technician positions with men being paid 1400 dollars weekly compared to 900 dollars for women.
Regarding other majors, female workers in the service sector and women who practice administrative/clerical work are supposed to experience the same salary variation of 350 dollars when compares to their male colleagues. Finally, a similar picture is witnessed in manual labourers when employers pay 1100 dollars weekly for men and 850 dollars for women.
