The maps demonstrated how a town changed since a hydroelectric power dam was erected between 1990 and 2010.
Overall, this town had undergone significant transformation from its more urban and agricultural past.
It was clearly seen that, in 1990, the river that ran from South to North cut the town in half. Forest and woodlands with some uncommon plants and animals could be found on the left bank of the river. Additionally, it possessed an ancient structure. Villages and irrigated farmlands were to its right, and mountains were at right angles to them.
The town had a drastically different appearance in 2010 following the completion of the dam. The river's course was divided in two, a lake was created to the north of the town, and a sizable hotel was constructed on the lake's right side. As forests were cut down, animals disappeared. The villages were moved to the southern end of the river. On both sides of the river, which were built to provide electricity to neighboring sites, important engineering works can also be observed.
