Arts, modes of expression that use skill and imagination in creation of an aesthetic objects which represent the environments, society and culture, includes painting, sculpture, music, theathre and etc.
I mostly believe this arts can be flourished if enough financial backup can be available. And if the authority is government, then it will become very easy for all artist to get the equal chance. Artist who actually create fantastic creation through his own imagination should be free from any hindrance : this can be financial or any types of pressure from any government or even any pressure of believes. All artist don’t think for the ony commercial purpose. So they can’t be motivated through the financial money. While the fact is if the government funding is available, artist could do anything in accordance to their choice.
Such as , a film-maker named Watson Devisky, became popular in South Korea after his death, who was thinking a movie that is not typical that why he could not manage production necessity. But when he passed away, a popular movie was made through his notes that made earlier. Even first animation movie maker do the work through the government funding, eventually big animation industry comes to the bright light. Besides, fine art’s students can create sculpture regardless of thinking about the selling concerns, so they can think with their very own imagination.
On the other hand, some critics believe that government funding of arts threatens the integrity of arts. They contend that when the government becomes a primary funding source, it may lead to influence over artistic creation. Artists may not feel freedom to conform to the government's expectations or produce work that aligns with political or social agendas, compromising their artistic freedom.
Both views have valid points to consider. Government funding can indeed provide stability and support for artists and organizations, allowing them to pursue their artistic endeavors and reach broader audiences. It can also help promote inclusivity and diversity in the arts. However, the concerns about government influence and potential limitations on artistic freedom should not be dismissed lightly.
