The maps give information about a university sports court.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The pictures illustrate differences in the structure of a university sports area between 1990 and now.
Overall, from the bird’s eye view, the present appearance of the sports court has more services when compared with the old one. Besides, there is no green space left after the improvement while some enlargements and reconstructions were made to the area.
Firstly, in the Northeast, while the café and reception remain unchanged over the period shown, the outdoor pool was converted into an indoor one. Secondly, an extension was made to the changing room, along with its movement to the East. Meanwhile, the previous tennis court in the Southeast was transformed into a fitness center.
Regarding other facilities, in the top right corner, there is a replacement of the park with a basketball court. Finally, the old car park was also demolished to make way for a new tennis court, which is more spacious than it was in 1990.
